About the (CITF) Certified Framing Layout Manager (CFLM) exam
(CITF) Certified Framing Layout Manager (CFLM) The CFLM was restructured in 2024 to emphasize digital framing tools alongside traditional layout principles. Advanced sections now cover parametric design workflows and BIM integration—skills rarely tested in previous iterations. This refresh signals industry demand for framers who bridge analog craftsmanship with computational precision, making the updated exam notably harder for candidates relying solely on classical training.
